Third Baseman Eugenio Suarez

Last year Eugenio Suarez  was the surprised
player in the trade that brought over Jesse
Winker. We have to say that Winker was a
disappointment for  the Mariners but Suarez
was not.

Suarez along with Julio Rodriguez each had
over 30 home runs last year and everyone hopes
the same this year. With the shift being off teams
especially  like the Mariners won't  be looking
to hit home runs as much. These two will hit
home runs without even trying.  Of course, there
will be situations where they will.

Suarez biggest surprise  was on the field. His
defense was a big boost that it almost matched
Kyle  Seager's. Working with infield coach Perry
Hill we expect  the same if not better. It is nice
for a player like Suarez to be proud of his defense.
The Mariners make the playoffs it will be the
defense along with the pitching for the most part.

Suarez showed himself  to  be  a  good  team player
not only on the field but in the clubhouse. So more
of that will be a pleasure to. Go M's.
