Ty France Return To Form

As the Mariners  get ready  for  the first
spring  training  games on Friday Ty
France came out to say the second half
of last season  was more of a slump
than injuries.

Ty has been working on his swing to be
corrected. For the Mariners  to  have
another successful season and make
the playoffs for the second straight
season  it will help that Ty has a full
season  hitting  like we know he can.

The Mariners  don't  have another first
baseman on the roster  right  now.
Technically  they have Evan White  on
the roster for camp and we know he
is healthy  and  play good  defense.
White hasn't  proven he can hit in the
major leagues  yet. Having Jarred Kelenic
in left field and not proven he can hit yet
the Mariners  can't  have two players with
little  success to open the season.

The Mariners have Dylan Moore  too. He
hasn't  proved he can hit major league
as an everyday player as well. The Mariners
have Tommy La Stella  who could play
first base to but he hasn't played well for
a couple years earlier.  The Mariners  have
Mike Ford in camp again and he hasn't
proved he can hit either. This means that
Ty France has to be the guy even if he isn't
hitting as well  as we are accustomed to see
him do.

I am sure we will  see  Ty at dh on occasion
just like Eugenio Suarez. The extra outfielder
will likely  dh as well  as  Teoscar Hernandez
when he isn't in right field. We may see AJ
Pollock at dh sometimes  to. Spring training
may decide who might get the bulk of time
at dh. Go M's!
