Hancock's first outing. The question is
will he be the fifth starter if he does
good during spring training.
Word just came out that Marco Gonzales
will start on Saturday against the Angels.
Another pitcher getting print is Bryce Miller. He to could be the fifth starter
or be in the Mariner's bullpen though
not many spots left there.
Who will make the roster if all three are equal. Marco because of his experience
or Hancock since he was a number one
draft choice or Miller. A question we will see answered. Marco being a lefty could
be traded during spring training since they
could pick up some prospects or a player for another position. They could get an
outfielder or a super utility player or a
first baseman who could give Ty France
some time off along with hitting dh or
pinch hitting too.
Injuries during spring could make decisions on making a trade. Remember Jesse Winker and Eugenio Suarez came to the
Mariner's last year at the end of camp.
This could happen again.
I know Marco is very popular with Mariner
fans but if the team needs to trade him so be it. The Mariners may trade Chris Flexen too. Go M's
