Huskies losing is the Mariners are
in spring training and the Huskies
are finishing their basketball season.
Actually more to it as well. The Mariners
lost to the Kansas City Royals 8-7. The
Mariners starter gave up five runs in the
first inning and he will start in the minor
leagues. Jarred Kelenic hit two runs in the
game. One was off starter Brad Keller who
has pitched in the major leagues for the
Royals.
The Mariners did have a couple relievers
who are trying to make the roster pitch well.
The Huskies lost to Stanford on the road
81-69. Stanford has had an up and down
season the Huskies. Again the Huskies
had a rough start to the game. Jamal Bey
who is finishing his career at Washington
had his best game of the season scoring
21 points. Could you imagine how good
the Huskies might have been if this was
a regular occurrence.
The Huskies finish the regular season on
Thursday against the Cougars on Thursday.
They hope to split the series by winning at
home. Go Dawgs!
