61-47. Both teams not that good did play a
decent game. First half was a total 44 points.
The Huskies got off to a good start however
they went about eight minutes without scoring
a point. Neither did the Beavers.
Jamal Bey who has three games remaining
plus the Pac-12 tournament. He led the team
with 15 points. All starters scored double figures
except Cole Bajema who is in a shooting slump.
Koren Johnson scored 11 points off the bench.
No other players on the bench scored.
Johnson and Menifield future looks bright but
will Coach Hopkins be there after this season.
Gonzaga beat Pepperdine Saturday for their
fourth win a row 97-88. Drew Timme led the
Zags with 34 points and Julian Strawther had
28 points. The Zags have three games remaining
on the regular season include St. Mary's next
Saturday. The Zags lost to them early on in
the month so be important for Gonzaga to win.
