minor leaguers though Julio Rodriguez,
Jarred Kelenic and Sam Haggerty were
among familiar faces to start.
Chris Flexen who is trying for the 5th
starter went two innings, 2⃣ hits, two strike
outs and no runs. A good spring debut.
The ten runs given up to the Chicago White Sox
were by pitchers who won't make the opening
roster.
The Mariners only run was a home run by
Evan White in the second inning. So far
Evan is having a good spring. Still too early
to know whether he will make the opening
day roster. Like Jarred Kelenic can he hit
major league pitching. He has missed the
last two seasons with injuries so the likely
he will start in triple-A but right now who knows.
One thing we know he plays great defense.
Tuesday Luis Castillo and Cal Raleigh make
their spring debuts. Castillo likely will be
the Mariners opening day starter. By the way
the game at TMobile Park is sold out. Go M's.
