Washington Huskies Win A Close One

The Washington Huskies men's basketball
team hasn't lost in a long time to Seattle
University and Sunday evening was a close 
one. The Huskies won in two overtimes
100-99 at Climate Pledge Arena.

The Huskies sometimes and more often
then not off to a slow start. Seattle U. had 47 points to the Huskies 33 in the first.
The Huskies were able to versa their play in second half to go through two overtimes. 
The game was kept close threw the two overtimes. 

The Huskies had six players in double
figures. They were led by Keion Brooks
Jr with 22 points and 9 rebounds.
Sahvir Wheeler who came off the bench
had 19 points and kept dishing out
14 assists as well. 

The Huskies shot well from the field
making 40 of 73. They shot from.behind
the 3 point line 8 of 17 which is good. Seattle did well shooting though not quite as well as Washington though took a
few more shots. Seattle had 46 rebounds
while Huskies had 44 so real close. 
Free throws were close as well. 

The Huskies will take on Eastern Washington on Thursday in the final
non-league schedule.

The Seahawks take on Philadelphia
at home on Monday night football.
