night at home against the Philadelphia
Eagles.
The Seahawks have lost four games
in a row while the Eagles lost to the
Cowboys last week. The Seahawks
could have beaten the Cowboys
between the two 49er losses but
didn't.
Most fans are not key Geno Smith
and neither is most of the media.
Not his fault the offensive line
hasn't done well because of injuries.
Ken Walker has been out as well.
Zach Charbonnet is fine however
two healthy running backs help.
The Seahawks have injuries on
defense as well. Since the defense
isn't great having some starters out
along with backups to not a good
sign.
The plus sign Drew Lock gets to
practice with the first unit. Second
quarterback doesn't get a chance
to practice a lot and with the best
receivers help.
Complaint the Seahawks don't
tackle well. I am not sure about
the season however training
camp or even before that they
are not able to. I surprised they
even know how to tackle anymore.
Since injuries are so common
in the NFL cutting down on
tackling during practice sort of
makes sense but looks bad in
games. Tackling should come
back and teams take their chances.
Players don't always practice
during the week either with injuries
so amazing games are as good
as they seem. The reason is they
are so good players.
I wonder how much practice squad
players practice as well. They should see
action against the first unit while
the second unit goes against second
unit. The trouble though they don't
have enough players to field a third
unit. Actually thinking about it with
rosters they do have there should be enough players. First two units come to 44
players and the rosters are 65 so you have
enough for a third unit to practice and more.
The Seahawks have lost four games
in a row and this one looks like a win
for the Eagles as well. The Eagles
have given up almost as many points
as the Seahawks however score more
points.
The odds are against the Seahawks to
win this one but to make the playoffs
this is almost a must win. A fifth loss
in a row the Seahawks are likely done.
We wish them the best. Go Hawks!
