Mariners Changes Lead to Win

The Seattle Mariners made a
couple roster moves during
the A's series. It benefited
them winning 9-5.

The Mariners got off to a hot
start scoring three runs in the
first inning. Unfortunately George Kirby didn't have it
giving up the five runs in the
third inning. The Mariners
bullpen did their job along with the position players. Now the
Mariners can go into Kansas
City on a positive note.

The two reinforcements were
Jarred Kelenic and Luis Torrens. Kelenic had a big
day having a home run on his
first swing to get the game
closer and had a double later.
Kelenic scored and drove in
two runs.Torrens pinch hit for
Jesse Winker who was at dh.

It was nice to see Cal Raleigh
back in the lineup. Cal had a
double which led to a run.

Manager Scott Servais said
in his post conference it was
nice to see a more relaxed
Kelenic in the game. Julio Rodriguez had to leave the
game in the second inning
with the recurring issue of
his lower back. Hopefully
he will be back soon.

Kelenic moved to center with
Sam Haggerty coming into
the game and playing in left.
JP Crawford had the day off
and Dylan Moore at short.
Servais wanted to shake up
the lineup some.

Marco Gonzales starts Friday followed by Gilbert and Luis Castillo. I hope this means at least two victories.
