Mariners in 11

It wasn't an easy day at the

office for the Seattle Mariners.
They were able to win in the
bottom of the 11th inning
10-9.

The Mariners scored first
on a two-run homer by Mitch
Haniger in the first. Marco
Gonzales had a rough third
inning giving up four runs
to the Rangers on three home
 runs. Haniger had another
home run to tie it to give Marco
more time. Personally, I would
have taken him out but he rides
the ship through the fifth.

The Mariners took the lead
on two home runs by Jarred
Kelenic who might be the
real thing now. The Mariners
though allowed the Rangers
back in with Sewald giving
up two runs and Munoz another.

The Mariners had to score with
the Rangers scoring a run in
the tenth and eleventh. JP
Crawford had the hit to win
the game with Dylan Moore
coming home from third.

Now the Mariners have the
magic number one to be in
the playoffs over the Orioles
losing again. The Rays lost
as well so the Mariners are
right now in the second wild
card spot.

The Mariners take on the
Oakland A's Friday night.
They could clinch a wild
card spot in the second inning
if the Orioles lose to the Yankees.
The Mariners just
need to win one game out
of the seven remaining games
or one loss by the Orioles.
I would say they are in.

The Mariners are in primarily
of their pitching and sometimes
timely hitting.
The 14-game winning streak
before the all-star break did
the job. The Mariners have
85 wins so will they make
90 or will we care. It would
be nice to finish the season
on a good note, and momentum. Go M's.
