more ways than one.
The Carolina Panthers
beat them 30-24.
The game wasn't that close as Geno Smith threw a touchdown
with little time left in the game.
Seahawks tried an onside kick
which Panthers were able recover to nail the victory.
The Panthers basically won the game because they could run
the ball and the Seahawks didn't. The Seahawks were without rookie Ken Walker III and Dee Jay Dallas. Travis Homer did most of the carrying
the ball while Tony Jones had
one opportunity. Unfortunately
Homer had 26 yards. Gino Smith carried for 20 yards.
Gino Smith threw for 264 with
three touchdowns and two
interceptions. For the Seahawks to win any of the
remaining games they must
be able to run some of the
time. They can't rely on Gino.
They have to stop the opposition to.
Oh by the way this was the Panthers first win on the
road in thirteen months.
The first half of the season
the Seahawks looked like
they would make the playoffs.
Injuries to the backfield hard
to see it go that way now.
The Denver Broncos lost to Kansas City Chiefs as expected though closer to. Now the Seahawks have the second
overall pick from the Broncos.
We will see where the Seahawks will go in next week. The Seahawks actually play
the SF 79 Thursday night. Now
it looks like the Seahawks
have to win to make playoofs
