Husky Men Win

The Huskies men's  basketball  had their
best game of the season  beating Idaho
State 90-55.

Washington  was playing a lesser team
however came out to play from the
beginning.  Hopefully  a good sign since
their schedule  gets tougher.  Their next
game is against #19 Auburn this coming
Wednesday. Interesting  sameday as the
early  signings for incoming freshmen  in
football along with junior college players.
May even sign some from the transfer
portal.  The Huskies  are expected to sign
around 19 freshmen. Whether they do early
or not.

The Huskies  will have a Christmas  break
before facing USC with  Pac-12 to go on further.
Against  Idaho State  Keion Brooks Jr  had
only 8 points after 30 points against Cal Poly.
He did lead the Huskies  in rebounds with 10.
With Braxton Meah in the middle clears way
for Brooks  to  take down rebounds. Meah
only played 19 minute's however they were
able to get  him the ball for 12 points.

The Huskies  had a 41-22 lead at half time
that extended out to 30 points that the starters
didn't  play the last ten minutes  of the game.
Washington  was able to  give their bench
some valuable minutes.  In fact a couple players
had their first college  points.  They used 13
players  in all. During  the  Baylor game and
further on they should be going with 8 or 9
players  most of the way. Guard Noah Williams
who has missed most of the season should
be back against USC  or shortly after. Go Dawgs!
