Washington Huskies Lose To Auburn

The men's basketball  team  at Washington
lost to Auburn Wednesday  night  at home
84-61.

The Huskies  once again  got off to  a slow
start though made a rally  at the end of the first
half to be down by 8 points. It was  all Auburn
after that.

Hopefully  the Huskies  have learned something.
After the Christmas  break they take on USC on
December  30. They follow to start 2023 against
UCLA.  Both games are at home so that might
be some help. The following week they play
Arizona  and  Arizona State on the road.

It will be important not to get off to a slow start
in any  of the games or go on a good run to
keep  it close.

The Huskies  right now have 9-4 record with 18
games in the Pac-12 schedule. It will be important
they get at least  9 wins for Coach Hopkins to keep
his job. Though he  has two more years remaining
on his contract another season  not making a
tournament  besides the Pac-12  could mean
the Huskies may let Hopkins  go.

The Washington State Cougars take on George Washington
Thursday night at home. The Cougars have a 4-6 record
heading into the game before starting their Pac-12 schedule.
Won't  be  easy  with some injuries to their squad. We wish
them the best to.
