Washington Huskies Win Tuesday

The Washington  Huskies  men's  basketball
team beat Cal Poly Tuesday night at home
74-68. This was after losing to Gonzaga
last Friday. They now have a record of 8-3.

This is like most of the Huskies wins
where they had to come from behind.
They were down by 11 at halftime  and
down as much as 15 points.

The Huskies can do this again teams
they are expected to beat, however,
teams like Gonzaga and in the Pac-12
it is hard to  do so.

A major reason  is they don't have a
lot of scoring. Tuesday they were able
to since their top player  Keion Brooks
Jr had a career high 30 points in the
game. Cole Bajema 13 points and center
Braxton Meah  had 11.

The Huskies lost Langston Wilson in the
first half to injury. Not sure how long he
will be out. Also, starter PJ Fuller  went
out in the second half. Also, Jamal Bey
was limited  to  minutes as well. Brooks,
Bajema and Meah played over 30 minutes.

The Huskies next game will be on Saturday
at home against Idaho State.

The Washington State Cougars next action is
on Sunday after losing last again UNLV against
Baylor.

Gonzaga  beat Northern Illinois  on Monday
88-67. They had another  great game from
Drew Timme who had 26 points. He certainly
on a roll. The Bulldogs play 5th ranked Alabama
this Saturday.  Timme will have  to  play another
great game for Gonzaga to win.
