the bench for the Huskies and was
injured against Oregon State will be
out the rest of the season.
Tough situation Kepnang who
transfered to Washington from Oregon
was having a good season. Though
he was coming off the bench he was
playing more minutes then starter
Braxton Meah a transfer from Fresno
State. They were a good combo.
Since Kepnang was injured Meah
continued to start against Colorado
however the Huskies often gone with
four guards. When doing so Keion
Brooks Jr has played the post much
of the time.
After Kepnang was injured Langston
Wilson played some up front as well
against Oregon State. In the last game
Jackson Grant saw ten minutes against
Colorado.
Depending on the opponenent we could
see more of both Wilson and Grant down
in the post when Meah isn't playing. Noah
Williams is expected back soon so this
will give the Huskies more experience in
guard position. The Huskies have been
playing both freshmen Keyon Menifield
and Koren Johnson. Early on Keyon was
playing well but now Koren has been playing
more lately.
Cole Bajema though listed as a guard is the
tallest of the guards so he is like playing more
the small forward spot. He has been playing
well right now he is the second best player
on the Huskies to Brooks. Hopefully things
won't drop off with losing Kepnang. Go Dawgs!
