Geno Smith along with safety
Quandre Diggs and place kicker
Jason Myers were named to
the Pro Bowl.
I would say pretty good for
a team that likely won't make
the playoffs. It shows how
good the Seahawks played
the first half of the season.
The Seahawks are 7-7 and
take on the Chiefs Christmas
Eve in Kansas City. The Seahawks have to win and
the other two remaining
games to get into the playoffs.
They could lose one game but
likely won't get in.
Diggs and Myers are both starters while Wooden and Myers are second reamers. The Seahawks have six others as alternates in case of injuries.
Wooden was drafted in the
fifth round this year out of
University of Texas San Antonio. He intercepted a
pass in four consecutive
games and was rookie of the
month in NFC for October.
Wooden is very talented
however no one expected
him to be this good this fast.
Geno Smith taking over the
quarterback position when
Russell Wilson was traded
to Denver has been a big surprise. In fact he has played
much better than Wilson. In
fact so much the Seahawks
likely will have the number
three pick in the first round for the draft pick they received in
the trade. This will come along
with their own first round pick.
The Seahawks will have a high
second round pick as well. This means they should have three
pretty good players who should start for them next season.
The Seahawks need help on
the defense so at least two
of the three picks should be
on defense. Go Hawks!
