Men's Basketball Huskies and Cougars

Both the Huskies  and  Cougars  Friday
 Night began their Pac-12 basketball
schedule  though they had played a
couple games early  December.
The rest of the schedule  all against
conference teams.

The Huskies  were  beaten by the USC
Trojans 80-67.

Takeaways:  The Huskies  are  exciting to
watch though inconsistent.  Though losing
in the first half they were able to take the
lead. Unfortunately  they were not able to
sustain it.

The Huskies will  be in many of their games
but at this point how many games they win
we will see.

Will head coach Mike Hopkins  be able to
stay on after this season we will  have  to see.
Over the rest of the season we will  look at
their players who are getting  in their praying
time. Noah Williams  a transfer from the Cougars
made his first appearance since the beginning
of the season coming off the bench after being
a starter when the season  begins.

The Washington  State  Cougars lost a close
game against UCLA Bruins  who are favored
to win the conference  if not the national
championship.

UCLA  67-66  A close game for sure

The  Cougars  are likely  a better team than the
Huskies though not sure as exciting or talented.
The Cougars  maybe  in the middle of the
conference when the season ends. They have
had to deal  with  injuries so how that works out
in the long run we will see.

The Cougars  will  take on the Trojans on Sunday
while  the Huskies play UCLA. We will see how
talented Washington  is compared to the Bruins.
Monday we will look at Gonzaga as well how
both teams faired Sunday.
