Mariners Sweep A's

I missed Thursday I had teeth surgery
and was out of it Wednday night and
recovering Thursday. I was able to see
some Wednesday nights' and Thursday
afternoon game.

Again the Mariners pitching was fantastic
in the both games both took the offense
to get going late in games.

Wednesday game Logan Gilbert pitched
well going six innings. He gave up two
runs both in the sixth inning. The trouble
was the Mariners had no runs yet. They
did get one in the 7th and AJ Pollock
tied with a solo home run to tie.

The Mariners had two runs batted in by
JP Crawford in the 10th and Eugenio Suarez put icing on the cake by hitting
a three run homer. Final 7-2.

Thursday was a day game to end the
series. George Kirby started out slow
giving up a run in the second and another
in the third. Taylor Trammel had a two run
homer in the third inning to take a lead
before Oakland tied in the bottom of the
inning.

The Mariners had three more runs in the
fourth inning and thst was it for the game.
Trammel drove in another run and Kolten
Wong drove in two. He is coming out of
his slump. Speaking of slump both Julio
and Ty France are still in theirs. For the
Mariners have success against Houston
and Texas in their home stand coming
up the Mariners so both need start hitting.

There is talk about about changing divisions in baseball. Will be the next
big thing though umpires might call
strikes and balls a computer or whatever
they call could overturn them.

When baseball does go to new divisions
the Mariners will still have A's but Houston
and Texas won't be along with the Angels.
Colorado and San Francisco likely be in
a four division.  It probably be named the
Pacific division. I expect the earliest it
happen will be 2025 though changed do
happen fast since playing every team in
baseball happened quickly. We will stay
play the Astros and Rangers but see them
in Seattle every other year for a series.
This will allow the Mariners hopefully not
have as much travel but still a lot anyway.
Go M's.
