Mariners Take It In the chin

Bryce Miller pitched well for
most of his time against the
Braves in Atlanta. Bryce gave
up a run in the first then two
more in the seventh before
leaving the game. Unlike most
of the season the bullpen
surrendered three more runs.
Final Braves 6-2

The offense still continues to
struggle not having any runs
until the top of the seventh.
The Mariners actually led at
that point until Braves scored
two in the bottom of the 7th.

Eugenio Suarez and Teoscar
Hernandez drove in the two
runs. Maybe they both getting
started to hit. Speaking of
hitting Taylor Trammell continues
to struggle at the plate. His average
is now at .128. The question is
how much longer do the Mariners
go with Taylor against righties.
Do they bring up someone from
Tacoma. The Mariners still not
getting any offense at dh. How
long they go with AJ Pollock as
well.  The trouble is they are
still having trouble hitting in the
middle of the lineup as well. Does
that effect the bottom to.

The Mariners offense hit well in
the first game in Boston but the
well went dry after that which is
what I was afraid of. Mariners
to succeed in the remaining of
this series the offense needs to
hit and score runs early.  Tough
though when most of the lineup
has been in a slump. Need one
or two hitters to start producing.
Go M's.
