Mariners Go Down Friday

In the first game of the final ten
the Mariners lost to the Rangers
8-5.

Bryce Miller a native to Texas got
off terrible start giving up a home
run to Corey Seager in the first
inning. In the second inning Evan
Carter hit a three-run homer.

The Rangers add four more runs
in the fifth inning to make it 8-0.
No home runs in the fifth. The
Mariners scored four runs in the
sixth inning to make it interesting.
Three of the four runs was on a
three-run homer by Cal Raleigh with
JP Crawford and Julio Rodriguez
on base.  Eugenio Suarez scored
on a walk to Josh Rojas.

Logan Gilbert pitches on Saturday
where we hope the Mariners can
rebound to even the series. It would
be nice if the Mariners can take the
middle game of the series at least
before heading home to finish the
season.

The Rangers are one game ahead of
the Mariners and a half of the Astros
who lost to Kansas City Royals  5-3.
Toronto beat Tampa Bay 6-2 to be
a game ahead of the Mariners in the
Wild card.
