Washington Huskies Men Win Tournament

The Washington Huskies beat 
Santa Clara Friday afternoon
76-69 to win tournament. 

Santa Clara is one of the top 
teams in the West Coast Conference
along with Gonzaga so this is a
big win for them. 

The Huskies lead at halftime 42-33.
Santa Clara did have some runs in
the second half however the closest
was six points within the last minutes 
of the game however couldn't get
passed the Huskies.

Great Osobar who lead the Huskies
with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5
assists was named MVP of the
Acrisure Invitational.  Freshman 
guard Zoom Diallo out of Tacoma
was second with 15 points. DJ
Davis who has been coming off
the bench in recent games after
starting before had 13 points. 
They were the only three in double
figured. The Huskies went with an
eight-man rotation. Tyler Harris
who led the Huskies the two previous
games had only five points though
had six rebounds. Currently Osobor
is primary inside man although
Wilhelm Breidenbach played 17 
minutes and had 8 points and 3 
rebounds. The Huskies are now
6-1.

The Huskies next two games will
be against former Pac-12 rivals
and new rivals in the Big Ten. 
They play at UCLA next Tuesday
and at home next Saturday against 
USC. After that more non league 
games. Go Dawgs!
