Acrisure Invitational Tournament.
It was different one in which the
WSU lost in the holiday tournament
on Wednesday in the final.
The final was Washington 73 Colorado
State 67. They meet Santa Clara in
the championship game Friday at
1:30 pm. on the Tru Network.
Colorado State led a tight game
leading 28-26 at halftime. The
Huskies became agreesive in
the second half. They went on
a 10-0 run going into the last two
minutes of the game. They didn't
score a field goal in the last two
minutes however went to the foul
line a bit of times. They didn't
make a lot of free throws until
the last 30 seconds when they
able to. They made 13 of 24
from the foul line making it
difficult otherwise.
The Huskies did well making
10 of 22 3s while Colorado
State went 7 of 23. Both teams
25 shots from the field although
Colorado State took five more
shots.
A play that made some output for
the Huskies to win a fragrant foul
when Great Osobor was fouled
with 38.1 seconds remaing. He
made one of two shots and the
Huskies maintain possession
of the ball where they were able
to take more time off the rock.
The Huskies had only two players
scoring in double figures. Tyler
Harris had another outstanding
game being leading scorer with
24 points and had eight rebounds
too. Harris made 5-8 of 3s. Osobor
had 16 points and eight rebounds.

which was big to.
The Huskies went with a six man

the bench for 28 minutes and six
points. Mekhi Mason had the next
amount of minutes with 12 and
scored 8 points. Christian King
made his best contribution on
the season going eight minutes
scoring five points. Maybe we will
see him play more minutes.
The Colorado State Rams had
three players in double figures
the leading scorer was Nique
Clifford with 13 points and nine
rebounds. Another key was the
Huskies held him down below
his scoring average of 19 and
he fouled out just under two
minutes left in the game.
Tomorrow's game against Santa
Clara should be a good test for
the Huskies. They are 6-0 on the
season.
