Wednesday night 84-41 at home.
The Zags were up by 16 in first
half however got worse for the
LB when they only scored 17
points to Gonzaga's 44 in the
second half.
The Zags played nine players until
the last half of second period. The
Zags had four starters in double
figures plus Braden Huff had 12 pts
off the bench. The rebounding was
spread out too. Ben Gregg off the
bench led with seven rebounds.
The Zags shot 46 percent in field
goals though only made 9 of 27
behind the 3pt line. LB did much
worse in both as you can imagine.
Zags did better at free throw making
17 compared to five for LB. The Zags
had only four turnovers.
The Zags don't play again until next
Wednesday at home against West Virginia. They only play six games
in December.
The Cougars who played Thursday got off to a good start then beat Easter Washington 96-51.Without the fast start it might have been a close game. They had a lead up to 24 points.
The Cougars had four players in
double figures. Dane Erikstrup led
with 24 points which included six
three point shots. Cedric Coward
and Isaiah Watts each had 22.
Nate Calmese had 19 points.
The Cougars next game will be
on Tuesday at home against
Fresno State. They are 2-2 right
now and play Long Beach on
Saturday afternoon. Go Cougs!
