at home losing to the Orioles 3-2.
The Mariners now have a 16-16
record st T-Mobile Park while
16-12 on the road.
Things wouldn't be so bad if
they didn't lose against the
Orioles and the Nationals
who are both having poor
seasons just like they did
against Toronto as well.
The other trouble they continue
having trouble against left handed
pitching as well. The Mariners need
to add another bat at first base
at least or if another infield spot
Dylan Moore could play first base
or bring up Tyler Locklear.
The Mariners will look to make
a trade before the deadline at
the end of July. We hope sooner
then later.
Emerson Hancock pitched good
going five and two-third innings
giving up a solo home run before
leaving. The bullpen gave up
the other two runs in the 7th.
This still comes down to the
offense not scoring earlier or
getting a key hit later in the
game. Rowdy Tellez after
pitch hitting earlier for Solano
ended the game with a fly out
to right field. He just didn't
have enough to get a double
off the fence or a home run.
The Mariners had two runners
on base so both likely would
have won the game.
Thursday afternoon the Mariners
will try to avoid a sweep to the
Orioles with Bryan Woo on the
mound for the Mariners. Also
helps the Orioles are starting
a right hander.
The Mariners head to take
in the Los Angeles Angels
in Anaheim for three game
series followed by another
at Arizona. We hope for
favorable playing both teams.
The Angels come back from
playing the Red Sox in Boston.
We hope that with having a
long flight will help the Mariners
at least on Friday. Of course
winning Thursday will help too.
Go M's.
