to see my blog especially about the Seattle
Mariners. Not sure there will be a game in
Boston Sunday since there is a good chance
of a rain out.
Remind you of my other site here
lookatlifepurpose.com and my website
herbnightingale.com. You can see
links to this site well as look at life
purpose and I write a blog on occasion
there as well.
Since there may not be a baseball game
we take a little time out on the Seattle
Seahawks. There is three months until
training camp begins, however, the NFL
draft comes up this coming Thursday.
The Seahawks likely won't draft on
Thursday since they have no first round
pick but Friday they should have at least
one pick.
The Seahawks have only three draft picks
at this moment, however, I am sure general
manager John Schneider will find a way
to pick up a few more. They will likely
come from the fifth to the seventh round
however we never know what Schneider
will do.
What or should I say who should the
Seahawks draft this year. I would say
go for the best player available at the
time. The Seahawks could use a receiver
or an offensive lineman early on in the
draft.
Continue looking at the draft it would
be good to pick up a running back to
go along with who they have right now.
Also, I would like to see the Seahawks
draft a quarterback to develop as well.
If you haven't heard Geno Smith is
coming back for another year as
Russell Wilson's backup.
Right now it doesn't look like KJ
Wright will be back at linebacker
so maybe pick up one of them as
well. They have a good group of
linebackers but to add another one
be nice.
The Seahawks signed a cornerback
however drafting a corner would be
good to. The Seahawks now have a
good group of defensive ends but
can we add there to and then the
defensive tackle could be nice to
add as well.
I think I went over all the positions
on the Seahawks. Adding one pick
at every position be nice which would
make seven or eight picks. Since there
is only three picks right now what do
the Seahawks do if they don't get any
more picks. One offensive play and
two defensive players. They can sign
an undrafted college free agents as
well. A week from now we will see
what they have gone with.
Now we will see how the Mariners
do this week as they play the Houston
Astros on the road Monday thru
Thursday. I hope we get in Sunday's
game however here we come Houston.
