Cougars Upset Arizona Wildcats

There must be some parity in the Pac-12
as the Cougars beat the Wildcats at
home. It was the first time in Pullman
the Cougars beat #8 Arizona since 2010.
The Cougars beat them last year on
their court.

The Cougars were ahead of Arizona in
the second half by 11 points but the
Wildcats took a slight lead for a moment
near the end of the game. The final
score was Washington 73 Arizona 70.
Came down to the wire however a win is
a win.

The Cougars again were led by Isaac Jones
with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Myles Rice
had 18 points and Jaylen Wells 11. They
only had 8 points off the bench. The Cougars
shot better from the field though they took 16
less than Arizona. The difference though both
teams took the  same amount of shots from
the foul line however the Cougars made four
more. Arizona outrebound the Cougars 51-38.
The difference was in offense rebounded
but the Wildcats poor shooting did them
in.

The Cougars will take on Stanford on the road
Thursday followed by California on Saturday.
The Huskies will be reversed.
Washington takes on California then Stanford.
The Huskies play UCLA on the road on Sunday.

Speaking of the Huskies they will name
their next head football coach soon.
Unfortunately Ryan Grubb won't be it.

The Cougars are 3-3 in the Pac-12
men's basketball while Huskies head
into Sunday's game 2-3. Oregon leads
the Pac-12 with 5-0 record.
