Pete Carroll Out as Seahawks Head Coach

It was announced on Wednesday that
Pete Carroll is no longer the head coach
of the Seattle Seahawks.

In the press conference which took
place at 1 pm pacific time it was a
joint decision though Pete Carroll
still would like to be head coach
though he understood why he no
longer is not.

It came down to where the defense
wasn't as good as it used to be when
they were going for championships
and won one Super Bowl and was in
another as well.

Pete looks forward to what his partner
General Manager John Schneider can
do on his own to bring back a winning
tradition to Seattle. Pete will stay on
for now as an advisor. How that look
he has no idea. Obviously he will give
his input who will be next head coach.
Since Pete  is know as a defensive coach
will the Seahawks look to bring in an
offensive coach who is the opposite or
bring in another defensive coach?

Right now it is hard to tell whether the
offense or defense is better of the two.
Both of them need help so have to look
which has the most talent. I am sure
every fan would have an opinion on
that too.

Over the next few days or weeks we
will look at the talent on the Seahawks
along with what veterans won't be on the
team most likely in 2024.

We can look at whether Geno Smith
will return or not. He has high salary
cap hit whoever so does Tyler Lockett
both on offense. Defense they have
Jamal Adams as a big hit too. I wouldn't
be surprised if he is gone regardless
the kind of coach the Seahawks hire.
Stay tuned everyone. Go Hawks!
