Huskies Lose A Fine Line In Sun Bowl

The Sun Bowl  was exciting  game
that anyone who is a football fan
would love to  watch.

The first half  each team took
turn scoring touchdowns begin
with Louisville. They tied at
halftime  21-21. The third was
all Cardinals scoring  two tds.

It looked like Cardinals would
win however Glies Jackson
caught his third touchdown
with 3:49 remaining  in the
game. The Huskies  needed
to stop Louisville  which didn't
seem likely however  they did.

The Huskies  had several
opportunities to score having
like eight tries. Louisville had
a pass interference on four
down. Had the call not been
made the game would have
been over. Giles Jackson caught
a one yard touchdown with nine
seconds remaining. The Huskies
decided to go for a two point
conversation  instead of tying
the game and going into overtime.

I am sure many fans felt it was
a mistake to do so however if
they made the conversation the
same fans would have jumped
for joy. This game wasn't  one
that make a difference  and
never know how overtime will
go anyway. The pass was close
but wasn't  completed. Would
have thought the game ended
however a unsportsmanlike
penalty was called against
Louisville  so gave the Huskies
one last chance. The Huskies
almost recovered  an onside
kick which if they had would
have been able to try a field
goal.

This was another game where
the Huskies  had a hundred
more total yards then  the
Cardinals.  This happened
several  times  this season
for the Huskies  in close games.

Now we will see what other
changes the Huskies will do
before next season. Go Dawgs!
