for the Seattle Seahawks to win and
we expected it might be a tough
game which it turned out to be.
Final Packers 30 Seahawks 13
The Packers winning ended a four
game winning streak by the Seahawks.
The Packers dominated the first
quarter with two touchdowns. The
Seahawks were unable to stop them
in their first two possessions. This
was a question into the game with
the Packers having a good running
game though the Seahawks have
done better to stop it in recent games.
The Seahawks were able to kick a
field goal early on in the second
quarter. The Packers though kicked
two field goals themselves in the
second quarter. The last one was
ending the first half. The score
then was 20-3.
For the Seahawks it was going to
take a change for them to win
however it didn't happen. In fact
just over seven minutes remaining
in the third quarter Geno Smith was hit and went down with a knee injury. At
this point not sure whether Geno
will play against the Minnesota
Vikings next week or not. Have to
stay tunned for updates.
Both teams kick field goals in the third
period with Jason Myers getting one
shortly after Sam Howell came in the
game for Geno.
Zach Charbonnet had a touchdown
in the fourth quarter to make it
somewhat interesting making it
23-13 at the time with 11:16 remaining
in the game. Romeo Doubs caught
an amazing catching diving in the
end zone with 4:59 left in the game.
That pretty much sealed the game
for Green Bay.
The Packers had 369 total yards
compared to Seahawks 208.
Had Geno not been hurt Seattle
may have had a chance though
still difficult.
Geno threw 15 of 19 caught for
149 yards and an interception.
Sam Howell didn't do well with
5 of 14 being caught and an
interception as well. Coming
off the bench cold isn't easy
to do.
Zach Charbonnet who had a
career game against Arizona
last week wasn't close this
time around. He carried the
ball eight times for 54 yards
and the TD. Kenny McIntosh
and George Holani who came
in late each had three carriers
with ten and nine yards each.
This showed the Seahawks
tried to pass instead of run
the ball. The Packers are good
against the run however this
backfired on the Seahawks.
They should try to run the ball
in the remaining games. They
are more successful doing so.
Next Sunday will be at home
again this time they play the
Vikings who have already clinched
a playoff spot. We hope this helps
out tge Seahawks. The best chance
they win the remaining three games
to get in. Go Hawks!
