Seahawks Do Win

Thursday night the Seattle Seahawks
beat the Bears in Chicago 6-3.

Just like the weather the offenses
were sluggish. Have to credit the
Seahawks defense doing the job.
The Bears got their only field goal
in the second period. The Seahawks
got their first one in the first quarter
and second after the Bears. The
second half no scoring at all.

The Bears only success came when
their offense broke down and they
were able to make some yardage.
Geno Smith had his worst game
throwing the ball. Even short passes
weren't great either. The Seahawks
running game was good in the first
half but not so in the second.

Zach Charbonnet had 15 carries
for 57 yards. Kenny McIntosh got
some playing time running the
ball seven tines for 46 yards. Geno
had three carries as well.

Geno threw the ball just 23 times
which was good as I said he was
terrible. He completed 17 for 160
yards. Though the ratio was good
the results weren't.

The defensive line did well sacking
Bears Caleb Williams seven times.
The main reason they had only three
points. Leonard Williams had a great
game including two sacks. Williams
threw the ball 28 times with only
16 catches. It would have been nice
to see more of former Husky Rome
Odunze however he had one catch.

There were 13 punts total in the
game. It would have been a good
benefit for the Seahawks if they
could have been able to run or
pass after. They only got into Chicago
territory basically on the two field
goals. They didn't get into the red
zone at all.

Caleb Williams hadn't thrown an
interception all season until his
last throw of tge game which was
a poor hail Mary if you want to call
it that with ten seconds left in the
game.

The Seahawks don't play again until
the following Sunday against the Rams. The Rams play the Cardinals
at home Saturday evening. With the
win the Rams would win the division
so we hope for a Cardinals win to
have any chance. The likelihood
is the Seahawks won't be in the
playoffs unless something really
good happens. Go Hawks!
