men's team had their last non-league
game. On Thursday they begin the
Big Ten schedule. The first time in
the conference it will be interesting
to see what happens. With a new
head coach Danny Sprinkle and a
roster made of mostly new players.
The Huskies led most of the way onto
a 90-53 victory over NJIT. The Huskies
led by 20 points at halftime and had
almost as many in the second half.
The Huskies used 11 players for most
of the time. Freshman Zoom Diallo
led the team in minutes with 26. He
and Great Osobor led with 12 points.
Wilhelm Breidenbach who didn't play
in the loss was the only other scoring
in double figures and played 21 minutes.
The Huskies had four players
who each had nine points each.
The Huskies may start the Big Ten
with an eight or nine man rotation.
A lot will depend on the health of
the players. We will see how things
go. Go Dawgs!
