More on Transfer Portal and other

The Washington Huskies are now
up to 16 who have entered the
transfer portal. The biggest name
Khmori House a freshman linebacker
announced he was going to leave.
He was named freshman of the
year and was expected to be a starter
in 2025. Now the Huskies will have
to look for his replacement.

The Huskies have added two defensive
lineman through the portal. Positions
the Huskies needed to find because
of graduations. Anterio Thompson
who will have two years remaining
in eligibility coming over from.Western
Michigan and Simote Pepa a fifth-year
senior from Utah. We wish them both
high success as Huskies.

Running back Cameron Davis is
transferring to Minnesota. The
Huskies don't have them on the
schedule so meeting up with
Davis would only happen they
each other in the Big Ten
Championship game.

News came out on Monday that
Cougar quarterback John Mateer
is going to enter the transfer portal.
The Cougars alumni were able to
raise $1million of NIL money to
keep him however word is out
another university has offered
$2 or $3 million. We will see where
he goes. Mateer could have ended
up as the greatest Cougar qb but
not happening.

On Saturday Gonzaga lost to
Connecticut 77-71. It was a tough
loss competitive game. The second
loss in a row after losing to Kentucky
by a point. The  Zags are now
ranked #13.

The Zags had three starters who
scored in double figures while
not getting much out of the other
two. The game took place in
Madison Square Garden in New
York.

The Zags were led by Khalif Battle
with 21 points. His play in the
first half allowed the Zags to stay
competitive and have a chance.
The Zags shot 37.5 percent behind
the 3 point line they just didn't take
enough of them. Did better than
their opponent though.

The Zags will be home Wednesday
night to take on Nichols State.
The game is at 6 pm. The Cougs
will be at Washington to take on
the Dawgs in tge basketball
version of the Apple Cup. The
game starts at 8 pm on Wednesday
night so you could watch both
games. Go teams!
