Signing Intent Day

Wednesday  is first of three days to sign
players  from class of 2025. Unlike
previous years there no letter of intent
day. This all about tge transfer portal.
Speaking of it players can go into tge
portal beginning  next Monday. The
players  will sign what is called an aid
agreement.  They are bound until entering
the transfer portal.

After Friday the period of early  signing
ends. The rest of incoming freshmen
will have to wait until February 2025.
As stated above those who sign could
go into the transfer portal starting next
Monday.

The Huskies  right now have  28 commits.
How many sign this week  will see. The
Huskies have  16 offensive players, 11
defensive  players and one specialist.
Tomorrow  we will  see who signs.
This came from the Seattle  Times.
It will be interesting to see who will
transfer through the portal beginning
next Monday. The Huskies needing help
on the offensive line we will some among
the new prospects as well as signing a
few through the transfer portal.

Giles Jackson  wide receiver and Carson
Bruener both having their eligibility up we
likely  see an experience  wideout and
linebacker to come this way.  Bruener was
named third team all-Big Ten and so did
running back Jonah Coleman  who already
announced he will return next season.
Go Dawgs!

Monday it was announced that the Washington
State Cougars  fired their defensive coordinator.
Tuesday it was announced that the  offensive
coordinator is moving on to Oklahoma. The
Cougars have 21 commitments however it
will be interesting how many sign and those
that don't.  All their recruits are three or two
star so nothing like they were in the  old Pac-12.
The concern might be who they may lose into
the transfer portal.  Makes me wonder whether
quarterback  John Mateer will move on and how
much ties to offensive coordinator.  Since head
coach Jake Deckert is a defensive  coach so it
may seem  Mateer may go however the players
do like the head coach. If Mateer  goes to
Oklahoma  than the current quarterback  Jackson
Arnold will likely  move on to better pasture. This
means the Cougars will  have to  find someone
unless going with a  backup or incoming freshman.
It would be interesting  what in the bowl game
if Mateer  leaves right away. The Cougars will
need someone at least temporarily be the offensive
coordinator.  Transfer portal  makes life interesting.
Go Cougs!
