Former Washington Husky Dealt To Rams

The Kansas City Chiefs traded cornerback
Trent McDuffie to the Los Angeles Rams.
McDuffie left the Huskies after three
years and was drafted by the Chiefs in
the first round.

McDuffie was a excellent punt returner
for the Huskies as well as cornerback.
He is going into his last season of his
rookie contract and word is the Rams
will sign him to long term contract too.

The Rams traded their 2026 first round
pick and  three other picks to the Chiefs.
Missing the playoffs for the first time
in several years the Chiefs look to be
rebuilding in a way. McDuffie was hurt
and missed the end of the season.
The Rams obviously feel he is worth
the risk.

The Rams know that the Seahawks
are a young team and though the
Super Bowl champion could be the
leader of the  division the next few
years though could lose a few free
agents.  The Seahawks are expected
to sign wide receiver Jaxon Smith-
Njigba during the off-season to a
long term contract. This is likely
the reason the Rams picked up
McDuffie.

For the Huskies fans means seeing
McDuffie at least twice a season
and we hope in the playoffs as well.
The matchup between Jaxon and
Trent could be great.  Go Hawks!
