transfer portal as of now. I am not
sure why leaving Gonzaga unless
you feel that the team won't be as
good in the coming season or you
want more playing time. Not making
it to the sweet sixteen might be a
a factor as well or having difficulties
with teammates or the coaching
staff.
The Zags weren't good at shooting
three pointers so may look to pick
up a few guys there. Graham Ike
graduation will be a key to replace.
Braden Huff will be back after
missing the WCC schedule and
March Madness. Leaving the WCC
to the new Pac-12 could be another
reason players are leaving. Not
playing St. Mary's or Santa Clara
might be an issue too.
Huff will be a key player next season.
Davis Fogle had a good freshman
season where he plays guard and
small forward will return as well
The same goes for Mario Saint-Supery
who had a good freshman season
to should get more playing time.
The Zags have three others returning
however two are walks and another
is redshirt freshman. They have
three other player coming on board
that are recruits so look forward
to look at least a couple come
through the transfer portal.
The Washington State Cougars who
had a poor season last season has
had several go into the transfer portal
to. We will look to see who come
aboard. It is important they become competitive in the new Pac-12. See
how Oregon State does to.
The Washington Huskies have four
who have entered the transfer portal.
The hardest is Zoom Diallo. We hope
he finds a way back. They are looking
at several players to come in so we
will at them in the next week or two
as well. Danny Sprinkle felt he did
make some mistakes with the guys
leaving so hopefully he will grow in
that area. The season was difficult
with so many players being injured
throughout the season. Tucker who
was hurt at the beginning and end
of the season said he was going to
declare for the NBA draft. I am not
sure why he should stay in college
for a other year to be healthy whether
st UDub or not. He could be back as
well. Go Dawgs.
