Mariners Win Again

Wednesday afternoon the Seattle
beat the Minnesota Twins 5-3 and
winning the road trip 5 out of 6.
Quite amazing since the first road
trip they didn't do so.

It looks like we are seeing the team
we expected for the 2026 season.
The Mariners now come home to
begin the month of the May.

Cole Young who we weren't sure
of to begin the season is hitting
hit right now. He batted .500
on this road trip and he is hitting
well against lefties.  This really
helps that they are platooning in
right field and  dh. With Brendan
 Donovan being out they have
had to cover with Leo Rivas and
Will Wilson. Donovan is expected
to be back when the Mariners get
home.

Final Mariners 5  Twins 3

The game was tight most of the
game. JP Crawford hit a  solo
home run  in the third inning.
The Twins scored two runs
in the 4th.  Stayed that way until
the 7th. Cole Young hit a double
tie the game scoring Canzone.
The Twins scored a run in the
bottom of the 7th to lead by one.

Cole Young came up again
in the 9th.  George Arozarena
and Leo Rivas who pinch run
for Canzone Young  hit a single
to center scoring both. Munoz
came in to get the save.

In the 8th inning Matt Brash came
in and threw only two pitches.
He came out with a possible
injury. More will be known tomorrow.
Brash didn't think it was serious.
He did understand why he was taken
out.

George Kirby went five and two-thirds.
He left after walking his second batter.
Bazardo came in to get the final out.
He started the 7th getting one out.
Jose Ferrer came in to get the final
two outs. Gabe Speier came in
when Brash had to leave. He got
two outs then Cooper Criswell
came for the final out  score Munoz.

The Mariners end April being 16-16.
Bryan Woo will start Friday against
the Royals. We hope to see a better
game then what we saw in the last
game.  Go M's.
