opportunity to win the series however
lost 6-2 to the Dodgers. Now the
Mariners come home going 2-5 on
the road trip.
Both the Mariners and the Dodgers
each had eight hits in this one but
the Dodgers took care with there's.
The Dodgers scored two runs in the
first inning. Every game on this road
trip the Mariners allowed the Rangers
and Dodgers to score in the first inning.
Not easy for a team to win when their
offense struggles for the most part.
Bryan Woo started in place of Bryce
Miller who will pitch Friday at home
against the Minnesota Twins. The
Mariners will need to turn the offense
around at home. We hope a trade
this weekend do the trick despite
what the Mariners may think.
Woo gave up three more runs in
the 4th inning when Woo gave up
a three run homer. He went five
innings before giving to the bullpen.
In the 6th Arozarena hit a double
scoring Cole Young. Cal Raleigh
ends up walking with the bases
loaded for the second run. Rob
Refsynder pinch hit for Luke Raley
but struck out with the bases
loaded the Weston Wilson ground
out. One more hit the outcome
may have been different.
The Mariners are now 2.5 games
behind the Rangers in third place.
