Mariners End Losing Streak

I am sure that most Mariners fans would 

have liked them to have won at least one 

of the first two games against the Rangers

however they did it Sunday 6-4.  Now we 

hope they can even it up on Monday.

The Rangers scored first in the first inning.

The Mariners tied in the 3rd when Julio drove 

in Cole Young.   In the 4th inning the Rangers 

scored two runs and thoughts going here

again.

We had to wait until the 7th. Colt Emerson 

hit the ball the other way  and so did Young.

After Julio Canzone hit a home run to put

the Mariners up by one. Arozarena followed 

with a home run of his own.

The Rangers had a home run in the 8th

to come within one to make it interesting.

Canzone had a double in the 9th scoring

Julio to end it. 

Logan Gilbert went five and two-thirds giving up

five hits and three runs. So he kept the Mariners 

in the game.  Gave Speier came in to finish 

the 6th and pitch the 7th. The last time  ge

had pitch was on July 19 which is a day too long.

Eduardo Bazardo pitched the 8th. He has been 

struggling as of late and gave up a run.

Munoz pitched the 9th and struck out all

three batters. He has pitched well. 

Grirge Kirby starts Monday in the final game 

of the series. I am fine if it looks a lot like 

Sunday. Go M's.
