Final Trojans 25 Huskies 21
The Huskies came down to their last
series against the Trojans. They had
to match down from deep in their
territory to come up short. The Huskies
made several first down on tough third
and fourth downs to be able to win.
Unfortunately the last play they had
came short on fourth down.
In the first quarter about half way the
Trojans scored first with a field goal.
Under two minutes left the 1st quarter
wide receiver Dezman Roebuck three
a five yard touchdown in the end zone.
Just under ten minutes left in the second
quarter the Trojans scored their first
touchdown to take the lead. The Huskies
had a one yard touchdown run by tight
end Kaden Elridge to make the Huskies
ahead at halftime 14-10.
The Huskies were able to stop the Trojans
who had the first series of the second
half. The Huskies were able to go down
the field and on a long pass of 42 yards
to tight end Decker DeGraaf at 13:30 in
the third quarter. It was the last score they
made leading 21-10. The Trojans scored
twice for touchdowns in the third quarter
to take a 22-21 lead at the end of the 3rd
quarter. The Trojans kicked a 39 yard
field goal to make the final 25-21 at 9:36
in the 4th quarter.
The Huskies had the opportunity to
score twice more in the game on
two turnovers by the Trojans but.
couldn't capitalize on them. The Huskies
are now 0-2 in Big Ten play. Next Friday
evening the Huskies will be back home
against Iowa. We hope for a better result.
