program in the state of Washington start
the season at the beginning of November so it
is very close in just over three weeks.
All three schools are dealing with a lot of
transfer so how they will do this season
is up in the air. Gonzaga is expected to win
the conference of new Pac-12 which isn't
a surprise for a program that has had success
for over 20 years. They to have a change
over in the roster.
The Washington Huskies who finished 12th
last season in the Big Ten hope to move
in top ten though there are 19 teams. The
goal is to have a winning record and be healthy
as well. Last season they had a lot of injuries.
The Big Ten might be the best conference in
College men's basketball.
Wesley Yates lll is the only returning starter
for the Huskies this coming season. At
guard he will be a vocal point for leadership.
They have nine transfers and six returnees
with Yates having the most experience.
In two weeks on the 25th the Huskies have
an exhibition game against the WSU Cougars
so after that we will have more an idea who
the starters are going into the season. This
is the only time these two teams meet this
coming season.
We wish the Huskies and Cougars good
seasons. Go teams.
