game and things won't get any better.
Final San Francisco 31 Seattle 13
This by far was the Seahawks worst
performance on national television
that I can remember.
The 49ers scored in their possession
taking about five minutes to score
a touchdown by Samuel.
The Seahawks moved on their first
possession however was stalled and
kicked a field goal. They only had one
other possession where they moved
well and they had to kick a field goal.
Geno Smith who hadn't practiced since
Rams game played the whole game.
What a big mistake in my book. Coaches
especially Pete Carroll do not like to
take the starting quarterback out of the game.
In my opinion Geno should have been taken
out in the second half.
The 49ers scored 17 straight points in the
second period to make it 24-3 at half time.
Jordyn Brooks intercepted a pass early on
in the third quarter on a tip ball for a touchdown.
It was one of the few exciting times in the
ball game.
Another time was when rookie Jaxon Smith-Njiba
caught a long pass from Geno with one hand.
The ball normally would not have been caught
since it was a little overthrown and Jaxon athletic
ability kicked in.
Whether it is next Thursday or not if Geno Smith
isn't one hundred percent healthy start Lock instead.
Outside of Smith-Njiba there wasn't much of a passing
game. Metcalf caught three passes however other
attempts were not effective at all. He wasn't seen in
the second half and Tyler Lockett who was invisible
in the first half had three catches in the second half
looking like giving hope.
On one of the possessions in the second half the
Seahawks went on 4th and one. Pointed out the
Seahawks need a field goal along with a couple
touchdowns. They decided to go for it and the
49ers stopped them for a loss. It should have been
the time to kick the field goal though you think they
could make one yard. This was a game they didn't
play well so it wasn't meant to be. Go Hawks!
