to come back from a slow start. In the
end they beat Yale 86-71.
Can't always tell how a team will do
after one game though the Zags are
expected to be good once again.
The Zags had five players in double
figures and were led by forward Braden
Huff coming off the bench with 19 points.
It helps when you have a player like Huff
coming off the bench. Let you know how
other players do throughout the season.
The Cougars beat Prairie View at home
83-65. This makes them 2-0. The Cougars
were led by forward Isaac Jones. He is a transfer from University of Idaho where
he played one season after playing junior
college basketball for three years. Jones is a local player from Spanaway Washington.
He hsd 18 points as well as 11 rebounds.
See how he does as the competition gets
better.
The Cougars will have a week off before
playing Mississippi State at home next
Saturday. Good time to practice on their
weaknesses and improve on the strengths.
Go Cougs!
