on Saturday's game against the Huskies.
The Ducks have only one loss on the
season to Ohio State who beat the
Huskies too.
The Huskies have won three of the
last four games against the Ducks.
All three wins were by three points
with Michael Penix Jr. as quarterback.
Last year they lost 49-21. This was
the first start for Desmond Williams Jr.
as a freshman. Jedd Fisch had to
rebuild the team after former coach
Kalen DeBoer moved on to Alabama
after the Huskies lost to Michigan
in the national championship game.
Not only is Desmond Williams Jr.
the starting quarterback for the
Huskies for the whole season
the Huskies have several freshman
playing on the offense. The future
looks bright at this time.
The Ducks are ranked #7 so they
dominate their opponent. On the
offense they score 39.27 points
a game while giving up 14.91.
The Ducks run 228.6 yards a game
while the opponent do 103.0. The
Huskies hopefully will have a more
healthy Jonah Coleman though
Adam Mohammed and Jordan
Washington have done a good job
in his place.
The Ducks average 243 yards a game
which is about average these days in
college football however with a great
running game don't need a higher
passing. On defense they give up
only 145.72 yards a game. Desmond
Williams Jr. will have to pass well as
running to have the Huskies to win.
Dante Moore is Oregon's starting
quarterback. He was the Ducks
backup QB last year after being
at UCLA. He didn't play a lot so
he was redshirted. Dante completes
72.89% of his passes. He has
thrown 23 touchdown passes
while only six interceptions in
eleven games. Dante isn't used
in the running game as Williams
does for the Huskies. He has 50
carries coming into this game.
He averages 16.36 yards a game
and has no touchdowns.
Noah Whittington is the Ducks
starting running back though
they use two others some as
well. Noah averages 80.78 yards
game and has six touchdowns.
Jordan Davison second in running
attempts is used a lot in the red
zone and has 13 touchdowns.
He averages 46.45 yards a game
Dierre Hill Jr. a freshman is averaging
41.09 yards a game and has four
touchdowns.
The Ducks starting tight end Kenyon
Sadiq leads in catches, yardage and
you touchdowns. He has 36 catches,
479 yards and eight touchdowns.
Fellow tight end Jamari Johnson
is sixth in catches with 20 and
has only one touchdown.
One of the split ends freshman
Dakorian Moore is second with
28 catches and yardage with
443 along with tied with Malik
Benson in third with three tds.
Benson is third in receptions
with 26 and yardage at 424.
Slot receiver Gary Bryant Jr
is next with 25 catches and
is second with 4 touchdowns.
The Ducks defense has 19
sacks on the season. Outside
linebacker Teitum Tuioti leads
with five and a half sacks. He
is third with 52 tackles. DE
Matayo Uiagalelei is second
with five sacks. He is tied for
10th with 25 tackles.
The Ducks say they will have
new flashy uniforms ask the
Huskies. I have to see since
in my opinion they are all ugly.
The Ducks are color blind.
The Huskies hope to have
Jonah Coleman and Denzel
Boston in this final home
game and regular season.
We hope so since this should
be Coleman's last game in
Husky Stadium. Thanks
for being in a Husky uniform.
Go Dawgs!
The Huskies men's basketball
team take on Nevada this
Thursday afternoon. Go Dawgs!
