best the Cardinals for the second time this season 44-22.
The first quarter especially was good for
the Seahawks where they had three TD's.
The scored quickly when Sam Darnold
threw a touchdown to Jaxon Smith-Njigba
for 43 yards. It wasn't long before Seahawks
caused a gym le by linebacker Tyrice Knight
caused a fumble on quarterback Jacob
Brissett that defensive end DeMarcus
Lawrence picked up and ran in for a touchdown. That made it 14-0 in just
over five minutes in the game.
George Holani the Seahawks third
running back scored a touchdown
just before the first quarter ended.
He had seven carries on the day.
The Seahawks scored again earlier
on in the second quarter where Tyrice
Knight did almost the same identical
fumble and again Lawrence picked
it up and went into for the touchdown.
Zach Charbonnet had a touchdown
in the next possession for six yards
to make it 35-0.
The Cardinals finally had a touchdown
at 2:50 remaining in the first half.
Jason Myers addedex a field goal
to make it 38-7.
That was the most fun and best defense
I saw from the Seahawks ever in the first
half.
The game got sloppy by the Seahawks
so the Cardinals scored a touchdown
in the third quarter. Jason Myers had
another field goal in early 4th quarter.
Marvin Harrison Jr. had a touchdown
then Myers had his third to end all
the scoring.
The Seahawks play the Rams in
LA next week. Both teams are 7-2.
Go Hawks
Sad news we heard of the passing of
former Seattle Supersonics player
and coach Lenny Wilkins. He was one
of the first players I was fond of in
the NBA. We wish his family heart
held thoughts. Thanks Lenny for being
a great role model as well as player
and coach. We will miss you. Go Sonics!
