playing on the road this season but
against the Bruins they looked like
they have been playing at home.
The Bruins haven't had a good season.
It included firing their head coach and
both coordinators. So Huskies did what
they must on a team that is not having
a good season.
Final Washington 48 Bruins 14
The Huskies got off to a slow start
offensively not able to score until the
end of the first quarter. They end up
rolling scoring 17 points in the second
half. Quarterback Williams ran for
a touchdown then they had a field goal
followed by a force fumble by their defense.
After having a 20-0 lead at half time the
Huskies had two more touchdowns with
Williams rushing again and throwing one.
The Bruins finally got on the board with
a touchdown near the end of the third
quarter.
The 4th quarter the Huskies marched
down and Jonah Coleman scored on
a one yard touchdown. After missing
last week Coleman had only four
carries. Hopefully he will be ready for
the Oregon Ducks next week in the
final regular season game.
The Huskies were able to stop the
Bruins on three downs on their next
possession. Unfortunately the Bruins
forced a fumble by the special teams
to score a touchdown.
The Huskies though came back which
included a 24 yard touchdown pass.
That ended the scoring for the night.
Next week the Huskies play Oregon
at home. It will be another exciting
rival game. The Huskies have done
well at home against the Ducks.
Go Dawgs!
