Washington Huskies Men's Basketball Win

For the second game to start the
season the Washington Huskies 
won beating the Denver Pioneers
84-70.

The game was sing degits most
of the first half.  In fact Denver
had the lead a couple times though
only by a couple points. The second 
half the Huskies got the lead into
double digits however the outcome
wasn't decided until the last couple
of minutes in the ball game.

Again the Huskies had a eight man
rotation for most of the game. Seven
of the eight scored in double digits.
Only center Franck Kepnang didn't 
score in double digits. He had only 
two points. Though he started Kepnang 
scored two points in thirteen minutes.

Hannes Steinbach and Wesley Yates 
led the Huskies each with 13 points.
Steinbach led with 16 rebounds.

Denver on the other hand played with
six players most of the way. The
Pioneers had only two players in 
double digits. They were led by 
Logan Kinsley who had 23 points.

This Sunday the Huskies will play
their first road game at Baylor.
This will be the Huskies first big
test and see how good they may
be. Go Dawgs!
