is on Friday at Kansas City against the Chiefs.
The Chiefs have already announced that
quarterback Patrick Mahomes will not
start or play in the game. Also former
Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III
will not play either because of a swollen
ankle.
The Seahawks are figured to quarterback
Sam Darnold and the starting lineup and
go at least one series. Probably see Drew
Lock after that. We will see running back
and first round pick Jadarian Price in his
first time playing in a Seahawks uniform.
Wednesday the NFL owners approved
the sale of the Seahawks to the Kholsa
family. We thank the late Paul Allen
and his sister Jody for saving and making
the Seahawks inti one of the strongest
teams in the NFL and birth the 12th man.
This Sunday the Seahawks will have to
trim the roster from 90 to the 53 man
roster for the opening day roster. Often
the day of trimming isn't necessarily
how the roster will look when the Seahawks
start the season on Wednesday September
9 against the New England Patriots.
Some of the players that don't make the
opening roster will be part of the practice
squad. With other teams trimming their
roster we could see the Seahawks acquiring
a player or two from another team. The
Seahawks have 12 picks at this point
going into next year's draft so a player
could be acquired in that fashion. Go
Hawks.
Added news the Seattle signed defensive
tackle Leonard Williams to a three year extension. He is considered the best in the NFL. He is
32 years old so likely his last one.
Latest news the starting lineup now will not play
against the Chiefs. It looks like Jalen Milroe will play quarterback most of the way. Could be a tactic
to trade him.
