starting quarterback so they will begin
Caden Pinnick. He is a redshirt sophomore
who transfered from UC Davis.
Owen Eshleman is the likely backup
s redshirt freshman from Oklahoma.
Julian Dugger is the third quarterback.
His strength is running the ball. We
could see him come in at times when
the Cougars are in the red zone. I would
expect the Cougars coaching staff wait
until seeing how well they do in the red zone
as well as showing something different.
The Cougars wide receivers on the outside.
Darrius Clemons a senior and Tank Hawkins
a junior. The slot receiver and a team captain
will be senior Tony Freeman. Expect these
three to catch a lot of passes. We will see
first on September 6 when they play the
Huskies in Seattle.
At running back will Kirby Vorhees a junior
who started last year for the Cougars.
He tried the transfer portal but decided
to come back. The backups will be
Maxwell Woods and Leo Pulalasi.
May see some good action against
the Huskies. The Huskies have a good
defense against the run so will tell us
a lot.
Jack Pedersen a senior and a transfer
from UCLA should help out the offense
too at tight end. Trey Leckner should see
plenty of action at tight end as well as he.
has played plenty with the first unt. Beau
Baker and Hudson Cedarland will be
number three and four. More used as
blockers. Go Cougs.
