Dallas Cowboys this Saturday in the
first preseason game at Lumen Field.
It is interesting in the season the
Seahawks and Cowboys will play
again. This doesn't happen often.
We will likely not see the regulars
in this one including quarterback
Sam Darnold. He isn't considered
in the top ten quarterbacks in the
NFL which is ok. The importance
is to build on last season and cut
down on interceptions.
The thought is this season the Seahawks
won't go with three quarterbacks on the
regular roster. They may bring someone
in to be on the practice squad. Most likely
to be there in case of an injury.
Jalen Milroe a rookie last year and third
quarterback didn't play a lot however if
he has a good camp then he could be
on the opening roster. His ability to run
as well as pass the Seahawks could use
him in short yardage. It would be nice
to have him play at least one series a
game depending how the game is going.
Maybe set up somewhere in the second
half even if Darnold plays the rest of the
game.
Drew Lock has come into camp as
the back so he certainly could keep
his job. Most likely he or Milroe will
be traded. The chances if the Seahawks
released Milroe would be picked up by
someone and the same for Lock. At least
getting a draft pick at least be nice.
Go Hawks.
