Seahawk Wednesday

On Sunday several players in the NFL
including those from the Seattle Seahawks
were concerned how training camp was
going to look this coming week.

Russell Wilson was concerned because
his wife is pregnant and Tyler Lockett
had a family who had caught the virus.
They both felt the prodicals had to change.

The owners had a meeting together on
Monday. They decided to cancel all
pre-season games and each player would
be testes everyday for two weeks to see
if they came down with Covid19 or not.

So the rookies will be reporting this week
followed by the veterans.

This week looking at the running back position.
Chris Carson is back healthy and is expected to
be the Seahawks number one running back.

Rashaad Penny who was injured near the end
of the season like Carson situation is more
serious. He is expected to miss the first six
games of the season.

The Seahawks decided to sign veteran running
back Carlos Hyde as a free agent. Hyde ran
for over a thousand yards last season so he
will be a good second back to Carson before
Penny returns.

The Seahawks have Travis Homer who
was a rookie last year. He spent most of
the season on special teams but when
Carson and Penny were hurt he did
a good job in their places.

The Seahawks drafted DeeJay Dallas
in the fourth round. Like all rookies
he will have to show his worth in
practice since there will be no
pre-season games. We wish the
best to him.

Those the running backs who have
the most chance to get playing time
for the Seahawks this season.

Next week we will look at the wide
receivers the Seahawks have to make
the most impact on the team.
